Sarah Pratt graduated from SLIS in 2012 with my MLIS in Library Science/Archives Management. Pratt will begin teaching as Assistant Professor at Simmons SLIS in Fall 2019.

Donna Graham Stewartson

Class of 1993

Donna Graham Stewartson: In April, I accepted the Director of Operations position at the Gwen Ifill College of Media, Arts and Humanities. In this role, I oversee the college's budget, operations, and professional staff. Working closely with the Provost Office and other Operations Directors to align university systems and best practices. I am a 1993 Graduate of the School of Business.

Kim Williams Thipe

Class of 2005

Kim Thipe as been appointed as Non-Executive Director of African Media Entertainment (AME) which is a leading broadcast entertainment group located in Johannesburg, South Africa. With more than 20 years of media and marketing experience, Kim started her career in the broadcasting industry and continued in the marketing industry where she has held various leadership positions. She was most recently, Head of Marketing at South African Airways (SAA) and is a currently a Ph.D student specializing in Social and Digital Media.

Elizabeth Hageman

Betty Hageman is now retired from the University of New Hampshire (where she taught for 37 years) and is now living on Capitol Hill in Washington, D. C. She would love to see classmates who live nearby or who are visiting the city.

Olivia Zimra-Turley

Undergraduate
Class of 2002

Olivia Zimra-Turley, Class of ’02 was recently promoted to Assistant Director of Student Services for the Tufts University School of Medicine Public Health and Professional Degree Programs. In this role, she works on navigating political and cultural contexts to help formulate and implement student support programs and facilitate student engagement. Additionally, Olivia works with alumni and the alumni board in their various capacities and represents the department in the day-to-day operations of student affairs, ensuring student safety and consistency. She is currently a Master’s Degree candidate at Northeastern University and will be completing her M.Ed in Higher Education Administration the fall of 2019. Olivia, her husband Ron and daughter Scarlett currently reside in Milton.
