Reunion 2018

This year’s Reunion (May 31–June 3) attracted more than 270 alumnae from classes ending in “3” and “8” for a weekend of reuniting, reconnecting and reminiscing. Reunion classes raised over $1.1 million for The Simmons Fund and scholarships, and the Class of 1968 joined the Half-Century Club.

Black Alumnae/i Symposium 2018

Alumnae/i, faculty, staff and students gathered on campus April 27-29 for this year’s Black Alumnae/i Symposium, “The Power of Our Presence: Celebrating the Greatness Within Us.” Held every five years, the event is hosted by the Office of Alumnae/i Engagement and the African American Alumnae/i Association. The weekend featured speakers, panel discussions, networking and a preview of Simmons’ Gwen Ifill Archive. The Gwen Ifill Trailblazer Award was presented to Juliette Mayers ’01MBA.

Crew 40th Anniversary Commemorative Gala

More than 140 people gathered on campus on September 22 to celebrate 40 years of rowing at Simmons. Attendees included current and alumnae athletes, present and past coaches, athletics staff, faculty, families and friends. The event included raising funds for the Friends of Simmons Crew.
